The role played by technology in carrying forensic investigation involves improving the criminal investigation process so as to ease the work of the police of tracking all types of persons who may be violating the law. Computer files are searched according to the investigators desires since relevant information can be found within the computerized system. Computer models are important information technology facilities that assist a designer in testing designs through using many conditional systems that have been stipulated within an act. Artificial intelligence is a program that is used by the police in obtaining pictures, age and determining predictions so as to point out areas where there may be crime. Cyberspace enables the police to track and trap criminals who frequently steal individual's property while at their residential areas. Essay --

Ted Bundy was born on November 24, 1946 in Burlington, Vermont. He was famous for being a well-known American serial killer. Bundy murdered numerous young women and girls during the 1970s. He is said to have murdered 36 young women and girls that have spanned across four states. The biggest question in anyone’s mind would be why would such a person do something so heinous and horrendous? According to psychologists Bundy’s to have had multiple theories on his motive. This essay will look at two of those theories which are Necrophilia, and Antisocial Personality Disorder. The first theory is that Bundy was driven to kill in order to satisfy his urge to have sex with dead bodies. The second theory is that he had antisocial personality disorder which devoids this person from feeling a lack of remorse or guilt. Theory one suggests that Bundy was a necrophiliac. That is, he was someone who needed to have sex with dead bodies in order to fulfill a deep urge. According to Dr. Robert Keppel a psychologist who interviewed Bundy, â€Å"It was the one part of his criminal behavior that truly embarrassed him because, as ugly as it was, it satisfied him sexually†. Serial killers get pleasure from different elements of a murder (Keppel, 2010). â€Å"All of Bundy’s lures, traps, and murders all came secondary to his sexual satisfactions at having a dumpsite where his victims would wait for him in silent decay†. Bundy would feign an injury, to help attract young women to help him to his car. Once the women were by his car, that’s when he would make his move of attacking the women and rendering them unconscious (Hinchliffe, 2011). In one instance Bundy seized a young girl and took her into a wooded area where he intended to rape and release her but ended ... ...RESSION OR ANGER; THEY ARE TRYING TO FILL AN EMPTINESS IN THEIR SOULS: [Final Edition]. The Absolute True Diary of a Part Time Indian

One thing Arnold does not do is complain. Even though he was â€Å"born with water on the brain†, gigantic feet, ten more teeth then normal, stutter and a lisp, Arnold still doesn't complain though. Just because he does not complain does not mean he loves the life he was given. Junior still thinks life would have been much easier if he was white. He tends to put himself down quit often. Alexie Sherman illustrates what differences there are between the Indians and the white people. Indians covered their private parts with their tiny hands† (Alexie 11). Saying that Indians have tiny hands indicates that the whites had bigger hands therefore meaning that they were more powerful and/or superior over the whites. Another thing Alexie Sherman shows the readers is that Arnold has very low self-esteem because he's used to people calling him retarded so often that he starts to believe he really is. And then you'd be wondering why you're reading a story written by uch a retard† (Alexie 4). It shows that Arnold doesn't have that much confidence in himself and he believes Indians are treated the way they are because they deserve to be. Alexie Sherman is saying that Indians don't be live that white people are truly better then Indians. â€Å"Some Indians think you become white if you try to make your life better, if you become successful† (Alexie 131). This shows how Indians have lost all hope for themselves and that's probably why they don't even ry to make their lives better, because no matter what they do they still aren't as good as the Indians. Some of the Spokane Indians believe if one Indian becomes successful then he is no longer an Indian but instead a white. In conclusion Alexie Sherman uses alot of metaphor does/says many things to express how the Spokane Indians feel about themselves and how they have low self-esteem. And because of this many Indians think they can't get anywhere far in life.

The Layout of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey in The...

Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey can be found through the layout of The Epic of Gilgamesh. Steps from each of the major phases such as the departure, initiation, and return are steps in the epic. Gilgamesh‘s Hero’s journey begins with the call to adventure this is where Gilgamesh tells Enkidu that they are to fight the beast, Humbaba ( 110.131-136). The call which is refused takes place within Gilgamesh’s dreams that he will fail (117.50-60). The step is not very important due to the face that it is not an outright refusal, only subconscious thoughts. Supernatural appears in numerous forms throughout the epic, one being his mother is a goddess (106.268-270). The next imporatnat step listed is crossing of the first threshold. Gilgamesh and Enkidu leave the safe haven of Uruk and enter the forest (113.20-24) and begin their adventure together. When Enkidu’s dies, Gilgamesh enters the belly of the whale. That is the last of the steps of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey. During the rest of the story, the steps change order and some are taken out completely. One could argue a valid statement for each of the steps, but some are more figurative rather than literal. The Odyssey the Epic Hero Cycle Odysseus is the King of Ithaca. He has been fighting in the Trojan War and helped the Greeks win the Trojan War. After winning the Trojan War he wants to get home and reclaim his kingdom and to see his wife and his son, Telemachus. While on his journey home Odysseus faces many
